The tour bus that departs from Quito for this itinerary would likely be a comfortable and modern coach-style bus, equipped with air conditioning, comfortable seating, and large windows to allow for panoramic views of the scenery.

The bus would pick up clients at their hotels in Quito and depart for the first stop, the Quilotoa Crater Lake, which is located in the Andean highlands. Along the way, the tour guide would provide commentary and information about the history, culture, and geography of the region.

After arriving at Quilotoa, the passengers would have time to explore the crater lake, take photos, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The bus would then continue on to the Cotopaxi National Park, where passengers would have a quick stop to take in the views of the impressive Cotopaxi Volcano and its surroundings.

After a couple of days in Baños de Agua Santa, the tour would continue towards Cuenca, with a stop at the Balvanera Church, a beautiful example of colonial architecture located in the town of Alausi. The tour guide would provide information about the history and significance of the church, and passengers would have time to explore and take photos.

The next stop would be the Guamote Indigenous market, which takes place every Thursday and is one of the largest and most authentic markets in the country. Passengers would have time to browse the stalls, sample traditional foods, and purchase artisanal crafts and souvenirs.

Finally, the tour would stop at the Inga Pirca archaeological site, located near the town of Cañar. Passengers would have time to explore the ruins, learn about the history and culture of the Inca people, and take photos of the impressive stonework and architecture.

Throughout the tour, the guide pamphlet would provide information and commentary about the history, culture, and geography of the region, and would ensure that passengers are comfortable and well-informed throughout the journey.

Itinerary

6:00 AM-7:00 AM – Pick up from Hotel and Departure from Quito
Your journey will begin in Quito, the capital city of Ecuador. You'll start your journey early in the morning, at around 8:00 AM. You can either rent a car or take a guided tour to make the journey to Quilotoa and Baños de Agua Santa.
10:00 AM - Arrival at Quilotoa
After about three hours of driving, you'll reach the first destination of your trip, Quilotoa. Quilotoa is a stunning volcanic crater lake located in the Andes Mountains. The drive to Quilotoa is a scenic one, with the snow-capped peaks of the Andes Mountains visible in the distance.
Explore Quilotoa
You'll have around two hours to explore Quilotoa. You can hike around the rim of the crater lake, which takes about 3-4 hours, or you can take a shorter hike down to the lake itself, which takes around 45 minutes to an hour. The views from the rim of the crater lake are absolutely breathtaking and are definitely worth the visit.
12:00 PM - Transfer to Cotopaxi National Park

4pm Departure to Baños de Agua Santa
After your visit to Quilotoa, you'll continue your journey to Baños de Agua Santa, a small town located in the Tungurahua Province. The drive from Quilotoa to Baños de Agua Santa is about 3.5 hours, and it takes you through the stunning Andes Mountains.
6:00 PM - Arrival at Baños de Agua Santa
Upon arrival at Baños de Agua Santa, you can check into your hotel and then explore the town. Baños de Agua Santa is famous for its thermal baths, so you might want to visit one of the hot springs for a relaxing soak. The town is also surrounded by beautiful mountains, so you can go hiking or take a bike tour to explore the scenery.
For dinner, you can try some of the local cuisine in Baños de Agua Santa. The town is known for its fresh trout, so you might want to try that. There are also plenty of other restaurants offering a variety of international and Ecuadorian dishes.
After dinner, you can relax in your hotel or explore the town a bit more. The nightlife in Baños de Agua Santa is lively, with plenty of bars and clubs to choose from. You can also rest up for the next day's adventures, which might include more hiking, biking, or exploring the town.

Your journey will begin in Baños de Agua Santa, a small town located in the Tungurahua Province. You'll start your journey early in the morning, at around 8:00 AM. You can either rent a car or take a guided tour to make the journey to Cuenca.
10:00 AM - Arrival at Balvanera Church
After about two hours of driving, you'll reach the first destination of your trip, Balvanera Church. Balvanera Church is a beautiful 16th-century church located in the town of Biblián. The drive to Balvanera Church is a scenic one, with views of the Andes Mountains and valleys.
Explore Balvanera Church
You'll have around 45 minutes to explore Balvanera Church. The church is a beautiful example of colonial architecture, and its interior is adorned with beautiful frescoes and murals. You can also visit the church's museum to learn more about its history.
10:45 PM - Departure to Guamote Market
After your visit to Balvanera Church, you'll continue your journey to Guamote Market, a traditional indigenous market located in the Chimborazo Province. The drive from Balvanera Church to Guamote Market is about 1.5 hours, and it takes you through the beautiful Andean landscapes.
12.00 PM - Explore Guamote Indigenouse Market
You'll have around 1.5 hours to explore Guamote Market. This market is known for its traditional handicrafts, textiles, and livestock trade. You can wander through the stalls and see the colorful goods for sale, or you can try some of the local cuisine at one of the food stalls.
1:30 PM - Departure to Ingapirca
After your visit to Guamote Market, you'll continue your journey to Ingapirca, the largest and most important Inca ruins in Ecuador. The drive from Guamote Market to Ingapirca is about 2 hours, and it takes you through the stunning Andean landscapes.
3:30 PM - Explore Ingapirca
You'll have around 2 hours to explore Ingapirca. This archaeological site is located in the Andean highlands and was once an important Inca religious and administrative center. You can see the remains of ancient structures, including a sun temple and a fortress. You can also visit the museum to learn more about the Inca civilization and the history of the site.
5:30 PM - Departure to Cuenca
After your visit to Ingapirca, you'll continue your journey to Cuenca, a beautiful colonial city in the southern Andes of Ecuador. The drive from Ingapirca to Cuenca is about 1.5 hours, and it takes you through the beautiful Andean landscapes.
7:00 PM - Arrival in Cuenca
Upon arrival in Cuenca, you can check into your hotel and then explore the city. Cuenca is known for its beautiful colonial architecture, charming cobblestone streets, and vibrant culture. You can explore the city's museums, galleries, and markets, or you can simply stroll through the city's beautiful parks and plazas.
