Santa Cruz Island is located in the center of the Galapagos archipelago and is one of the most visited islands by tourists. It is known for its diverse wildlife, including giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and Darwin’s finches. The island also features a variety of ecosystems, including lush highlands, arid lowlands, and pristine beaches.

Isabela Island is the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago and is known for its stunning landscapes, including the Sierra Negra volcano and the Tintoreras Islets. It is also home to a wide range of wildlife, including marine iguanas, Galapagos penguins, sea lions, and giant tortoises. Isabela Island is less developed than Santa Cruz Island and offers visitors a chance to experience the natural beauty of the Galapagos in a more remote setting.

and a quick visit to Rancho primicias. where the giant turtles live, in the late afternoon we visit Charles Darwin Station

Bartholome

Isabela

Tintorera Bay is a small cove located on Isabela Island in the Galapagos. The bay is named after the white-tip reef sharks, or "tintoreras," that can often be spotted swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
Flamingo Lake, also located on Isabela Island, is a shallow saltwater lake that is home to a large population of pink flamingos.

Galapaguera is a tortoise breeding center located on Isabela Island.
